What is the difference between a semi-automatic can seamer and a fully automatic can seamer?

Semi-automatic can seamers generally include hand pull seamers, pneumatic can seamers, electric can seamers, etc. It is generally suitable for small-scale production, single-piece production, and small-batch production factories.

A, hand lever seamer:
The manual can seamer is the most common semi-automatic can seamer at present. Because of its stable mechanical quality and easy debugging, it is widely used by small factories, small workshops, stalls and shops.
The sealing principle of this model is simple, using two knives for folding and sealing, the first knife is a folding knife, and the second knife is a bending and fastening knife. Individually used for sealing non-vacuum-filled jars.

Semi-automatic can seamer
principle:
1. Put the jar with the lid on the bottom tray.
2. Step on the pedal with your feet to push the jar tightly onto the die.
3. Pull in the handle, so that the first knife and the second knife can quickly roll the cover and tighten it.
4. Put down the pedal and output the finished product.

B, Pneumatic can sealing machine:
This model has a slightly higher degree of automation than the pull can seamer. Two air cylinders are used to replace the artificial wrench arm and the pedal respectively.

Pneumatic can sealing machine
principle:
1. Put the jar with the lid on the bottom tray.
2. Step on the foot switch, and the bottom support cylinder pushes the jar tightly onto the die.
3. The cylinder of the swing arm swings, so that the first knife and the second knife can quickly roll up and fasten the edge of the cover.
4. Finished product output.

C, Electric can seamer:
The difference between the electric can seamer and the hand pull and Shandong is that the first knife and the second knife are installed on both sides of the die respectively.

Electric can seamer
principle:
1. Put the jar with the lid on the bottom tray.
2. Step on the foot switch or the jar sensor switch (different from each manufacturer, the method is different), and the bottom bracket is driven by the motor cam to push the jar tightly onto the die.
3. Due to the action of the side swing arm cam, the first knife first presses the cover curling, and when the cam rotates half a circle, the second knife swing arm starts to press.
4. Finished product output.

The models mentioned above are semi-automatic can seaming models popular in China, and the average seaming speed of the models is between 15 and 30 cans/minute. Due to the low cost, low technical content and stable quality, many individuals and units use this type of machine. The disadvantage is that it is not suitable for high-volume automated production lines.
